Special Video Release: Clint Hill Remembers JFK at CIW 2013
On November 22, 1963, the 35th President of the United States was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. Many Americans can recall exactly where they were at that moment - but perhaps none so clearly as Clint Hill, the Secret Service Agent designated to protect Mrs. Kennedy on that fateful day.
At CIW 2013, Mr. Hill shared a minute-by-minute account of his experience during one of the most iconic moments in history - from making pitstops throughout Texas with the President and First Lady to leaping on the back of the presidential car just moments after the first shot rang out. His service that day, documented in the famous Zapruder film, is now a preserved image seared in America's history.
Clint Hill is the last surviving passenger of the presidential limousine that arrived at Parkland Hospital 50 years ago. In honor of this historical day of remembrance, CIW invites you take a sneak peek at Clint Hill's powerful story during CIW Witness: I Changed History, featuring his co-author and wife, Lisa McCubbin.
