Once upon a time in a land not so far away, there were a bunch of people sitting in a long row reading articles on the interwebs all day long. They thought, “HEY. Why do we have to wait until OCTOBER 14-20 to share what we think is interesting?”
Also, they thought, how about we share it through the beauty of poetry? Yes, that’s a good idea.

Hillary said farewell, (but she’ll be back one day),
And everything new is old again, they say.
France is becoming a much dimmer place, and
Iran may or may not have launched a monkey into space.
We all know Chicago for it’s sports and it’s food,
But to not acknowledge it’s tech scene would be rather rude.
We still can’t believe Manti’s girlfriend was fake.
Sometimes we like to take a swan feeding break.

Once in a while we want to send Kelly to Mars,
Where she’d manage to find a neighborhood with hipster bars.
When you’re eating good in the neighborhood, you should leave a tip too-
