Considering the Future of Work: A CIW and Ernst & Young Collaboration

The world of work is changing. “Office” is defined as wherever the work is happening — and it might not be in an office at all. Coworkers and collaborators may be sitting across a conference room table, at the kitchen table, or could be half a world away.

Not only that. Multiple generations of workers are bringing to their jobs and workplaces different and sometimes conflicting views of how work should function. And continuing uncertainty in the economy has prompted new ways of thinking about employment.
Is your workplace changing? Do you want it to? And what do you think the future holds, for employees, employers, contractors and independents?
Chicago Ideas Week and Ernst & Young LLP want to find out — and we’re seeking your input. We just launched a broad-based survey of past and current attendees of Chicago Ideas Week and others in the community to learn how people feel about the future of work.
We’ll share the findings at the Chicago Ideas Week Talk sponsored by Ernst & Young, “Work: No Longer Business As Usual,” on October 11 at 4 p.m.
Please take five minutes to respond to our survey, joining thousands of others who are sharing their feedback on “The Future of Work.” The survey closes on Monday, September 14.
Thank you for participating!
