Chicago Ideas Week is poised to “enter the Wu-Tang” this year, as Ghostface Killah is coming to the Hip-Hop: The Essential American Art Form Talk at the Museum of Contemporary Art on Thursday, October 20. The Talk comes a week before the 20th anniversary of his debut solo album, “Ironman,” and he’ll dig into his career, the future of the hip-hop industry and give a performance of Wu-Tang Clan’s “C.R.E.A.M.” on stage.

But Ghostface isn’t ending his visit to Chicago at the MCA—he’s following the Talk with an after show at Metro presented by Chicago Ideas. Attendees of the hip-hop Talk will receive a $5 discount to the show by entering the password CHICAGOIDEAS. If you’re looking to check out one of the most prolific rappers of a generation, Chicago Ideas has your back.

Ghostface isn’t the only exciting new addition we’ve made to our speaker lineup this week—Allyson Felix has joined the Unlocking Genius: The Dynamics Behind the World’s Greatest Minds Talk. Felix just won two gold medals at the Rio Olympics, bringing her career total to six and making her the most decorated female track and field athlete in Olympic history.

If you haven’t bought your tickets to Chicago Ideas Week yet, do so now before tickets sell out. You can check out the full schedule here to find the Talks, Conversations and Labs that pique your interest.
